Adjust AMC V8 valves?

I know this is probably a dumb question, but I'll pose it anyway.

Are stock AMC V8 valves adjustable? Is there ANY reason to check them if there are no other problems?

Nope, as long as you have the correct lifters and push rods, tighten the rockers all the way down and call it good.

Thanks - that's what I thought.

I'm running some non-stock push rods for some reason (they guy who built the engine said it needed them), but they seem to work fine...
