Not so much of a "build," but...
Here's my 1982 Jeep Wagoneer. I bought it for $700 dollars around 3 years ago from North Augusta, SC. Drove it home to Columbus, Ga.
It originally had a soft vinyl roof, with some bad rust spots underneath. Stripped off the vinyl (it was a pain!) and patched the holes with Bondo. Wished I had used fiberglass now, looking back... Anyway, I also built a roof rack out of EMT for it. Swapped the plastic "pig nose" grill for a "Rhino" grill.... Then swapped that for a "Boobie" grill. Love the boobies.
Everything is pretty much stock. It came with a new Holley 2-bbl carb on it. Got decent gas mileage, but seriously lacked power and had no choke or anything. Well a manual choke that wasn't hooked up. So, this past weekend I put a Motorcraft carb on it that was "new" that I traded a front differential for. It came bolted to a 360 intake and was used some, but looks next to new. Has more power, I'm sure I'll still have to tune the Motorcraft, but runs alright for now. Also she got a new windshield today.
Pictures to come in next post!
