Should be done installing new window wipers, felts etc this week. If so, its off to get upholstery, the rear bumper re-chromed and the undercarriage painted black. Took a while to decide if I was going to make the undercarriage look fresh but ultimately decided that it would help make the trim Pop which should look killer. Most remaining trim will be polished as well.
About to post up the final work before getting this Cherokee to auction. I have a question...
The original 43 year old shocks work swell... the ride is amazing, but they are rusty looking. Not a bid deal until I painted the wheel wells and undercarriage. Cheaper, quicker and easier to replace them rather than remove them, sand them down and paint them. What would you do? Leave them as is? Replace them with new?
