So had a little time here on Saturday. So decided to get the transmission and engine mated together.
Here is the rest of the transmission mount plate and required flex plate.
So since this is using a Gen IV LY6 and a 4L60E from say a Gen 2. I have to use a flex plate from a 4L80E transmission. So this one was bought for a 2003 Suburban with 6.0L.

Vinny helped me drop in the whole package. Went into the chassis with zero issues. Will need to adjust towards passenger side. But need it right now for cab placement.

I think they look perfect on there and will work perfectly. Please note. Engine is strong to drivers side. I still need to shove engine to passenger side.

Hal, because all aftermarket AC units use 5/8" heater hose, would suggest remove oem heater hose nipples(while easy to get to) and tap out water pump to NPT threads, then you can screwin 5/8" SS nipples, small thing that saves some grief when time comes, ask me how I know!
Little shot of transmission plate. Due to design of JKU cross member. This plate can move forward and side ways about 4 inches. It looks like this one will be locked in about here. But a little more passenger side.

And all separated. I love my fork lift and most definitely love the lift. I also love working in tranny land... Robbie I am sure hates me in his bay....

And the cab is down. Not very happy with engine placement. I want it about 2 inches forward. So ordering a set of adjustable Dirty Dingo LS mounts. I will be combining them with the Motech mounts. If do not get how I want it. Will just suck it up and make my own. Got a slight rubbing problem....lol

Well on a side note. I have decided the fleet side bed will not work for what I want. So will be contracting with a specialty builder. He will build me a custom box bed. And I will be using Genright JKU Fenders front and rear. Probably have them custom made for my application. I will want to see this truck on the trail. But the departure angle on rear would be incompatible with the rock Krawling I do.
