I used the Plano 68qt Storage Trunks. Yes three sit nicely side by side. The one in the photos is my carry all tote. I have one for day trips and 2 for longer trips. One carries most of the food items the other is the cooking items. The system works great, keep everything in place and easy to get to when you need it.

Thanks for the info! I've got a system for motorcycle camping very similar where all camping gear goes in one bag over the rear, tools/tubes/spares/shoes in one side case, and clothes/food/cooker in the other. I can grab my bags and hit the road in minutes.
I'm not there with the Jeep or truck camping yet, I just throw everything in back of my truck but it gets messy.
