I recently completed an L18/4l80E swap into my GMC dually. No build thread, but the overall swap is the same as FSJ other than the fact that the GM trucks already have the correct motor mounts and tranny mounts.
I can tell you this though - the L18 has some SERIOUS torque. My main concern is the stock chevy 1 ton driveshaft can't handle the torque and is going to twist.
