He didnt seem to like the propane "fire" last year eitherfulsizjeep wrote:For anyone reading this, you can still reach Dave by email or phone when Ouray KOA is not open.
Speaking of which, we were in Ouray this past Sunday and stopped by to see if Dave was there. He was standing outside when we rolled up. He greeted us with the usual big smile and we caught up on a few things. Out of al these years, the only "bad" thing that seems to stick out about our group was the year someone pulled an extension cord from a tent site across the road to an RV site. I guess that is good. I told him as far as I know, it is 27 sites reserved to date. He thought that was great. So they are knocking out projects to be open on May 1.
Excellent. I will most likely show up on the 14th. I always enjoy the few days before the offical event. What are you bringing this year?rstep wrote:About time Mike.

After some discussion with Em on the road this weekend in the Caddy powered Wag, we are not taking the Pushmobile to Ouray.
Sorry if that upsets some folks but too bad, it doesn't bother us at all.
We may not even take the Q, if we can score a deal like Bob did last year on a GC an they will allow us to tow the Coleman with it we might just do that instead, or we may just tent camp.
What I do know is I am never driving the wag 1,300+ miles ever again in one trip.
I/we have driven the wag in 2003, 2008, 2010 and 2011.Can't say I blame ya though
