Been doing more detail items as I get time, been daily driving it since Xmas eve, what a blast...
Trimmed the dodge door seals and cut to length and they fit surprisingly well. One draft down...
Got a muffler and installed it, made quite a difference in the volume out the pipe, and now I can hear the turbo spool up, God I love that sound...
Got rain a week ago, which forced me to wire GW delay wiper motor to dodge harness, now have full function including wash. The day after the rain, the doors locks kept "unlocking" themselves. It did it most of the day, but has not done it since. I need to get new window felts to keep moisture out...
Used the dodge fuel fill spout and cap to make it easier to get 2cycle oil in, and now it seals well and doesn't puke out the cap when I drive. Now I can start getting real mileage #s.
This is such a blast to drive. I went by a house a couple weeks ago and it was fun to watch all 5 of the guys on the roof stop working and stare as I went by. It reminded me of the commercial with the cats where they all turn their heads at the same time.
I got to roll across a set of scales the other day and to my surprise it's only 250#s heavier than before. I thought it would be more. I was 8300#s with jeep frame and Caddy engine, now I'm @ 8540.
Did I mention how much fun it is to drive???
