Manual says 6 pints. Do I fill until it comes out the full hole? If I do that is a lot more than 6 pints. This stuff makes me a little crazy. As an aircraft mechanic this type of contradiction in manuals is not normal to me. It says fill to level of fill hole, capacity 6 pints. BS. If I fill to the hole that is like 3 qts.

You do see where the manual uses the term 'approximate' right. And if AMC ever did build a plane there is no way I would have flown in it.

To answer one of your questions, yes, fill it until fluid is to the bottom of the fill hole.
