Time to start planning the spring Moab trip. It seems that EJS is March 19-27 and we definitely want to avoid that mess.
I'm thinking sometime April and will be up there on a Wednesday through Sunday. The car show is 4/29-5/1 and it's always cool to see that..
Who is in?

Where do you usually stay?
1977 Cherokee S, Ford 5.0, 5 speed, BW 1356, 33 x 10.50 BFG's. No longer my DD.
2007 Mercury Milan, 2.3L, 5-speed, now my DD. 29 mpg average.

I've stayed at the Canyonland camp sites in town before. They are pretty nice. You can rent a tent site or RV site and they have showers/bathrooms.
I would be open for anything that sounds interesting...

I haven't been to Moab before but I'd like to go this year if I can manage it. I don't think I'll be able to go the same places you can with your honcho though!

Here we go, we can rent a ranch! Sleeps 60
we'd need that many people or we'd have to sell our jeeps to afford the place.

Sounds good to me, though for me it would have to be Thursday through Sunday.

If my junk is put together and I don't have school I'm definitely in. I think I'd rather do back country camping though. I need to spend more time in the la sals.

I have every other Friday off. If we can do it on one of those 3 day weekends, I'd be in.
In April, I get off Fridays the 8th and 22nd. Also May 6th.

I've got Thursday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday and I've got to be home by five-six every Monday until late may. Easter I've probably got a trip to flaming gorge/dutch john. After that I should be available 7 days a week until school starts again or I've got to move.
If we're going to do this I need probably two weeks notice so I can get off work.

We are staying at the canyonland rv campground in town. I called today and left a message saying I wanted the campsites that are on the far end of the campground and isolated. We had a heckuva bonfire there last year.

Working out my crap now. Jeep is ready to go except oil leak, tires, and rag joint. All of which are on order.
