I served. And my thoughts always turn to the greatest generation that fought and won WWII. And all of those that did not return or returned with much to handle. The only way to pay that kind of debt is to keep the US of A FREE.

Reminds me of my grandfather. He couldn't serve in the forces (Asthma), so he served here in the CCC building ships. He was quite the welder because of this. The stories he had from what went on in the ship yard with espionage and enemies trying to sneak in. I would have never guessed we had so much stuff happen on our own soil.
He passed away in February. He was 94.
