Razor Grill project continue, i created a blog, to allow you to follow the story.

http://www.jeepcherokeechief.com/razor-grill-project/

To obtain a inquiry, you need to have 3D files, this is not my job. I asked many US and Europa company to know if they do a 3D Scan, with wich price.
The price is heigher and only scan is not enought, is necessary to redraw and use the 3D scan like a model.

I finally found Swiss company they want to redraw my razor grill, to allow asking for inquiry.
The way is not simple.

Bye

What file formats will be generated from this scan?
I would be interested in viewing the 3d model and provide technical assistance with your project.

The file will be .stl, that file required by factory to obtain offer.

Why not pie plates ? Easier to produce and you should sell them for a good price
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jeep-Pie-Plates ... cK&vxp=mtr

Same for some fendres emblems

A superfluous piece of trim Jeep put on the hood to cover the gap in the center when they dropped the rhino grille for the razor.

DustinLangston wrote:$1000? Seriously? There's a salvage yard here in Utah that has like 6 of the razor grills in great condition and they're cheap!
Do you know the name and number of the salvage yard? Looking for a Rhino Grille. Thanks.

There are still so many of these grilles around, and such little over all demand for them that I can't imagine that you would ever sell many. They are usually pretty cheaply priced. I'd never sell one for more than $100 myself. They just aren't worth that much used.

New? Not many FSJ people would be willing to pay a ton of money I imagine, as most of us have daily driver quality rigs. I think you'd do much better making and selling hard to find items, or items in high demand.

Sadly they don't have any rhino grilles. But I did come across a couple '66's locally that still have good ones, but they're not chrome and he wants a pretty penny for them ($400).

Digging up an old thread here. Did these ever get into production? I need a razor grille for my '77 Cherokee.

Anyone have a good used one they would sell me?
