Show your Door panel

Post by Charles Kline »

Post a photo of your door panel. There are so many different options/ color combos it'll be neat to see them all.

I'll start. '79 J10 Black interior with the dark denim.

Image

The PO decided to spray paint the top of the door and jamb (as well as every other part of the interior -overspray everywhere  ) and I need to add a screw to the chrome plastic part of the handle.

Cool! So far black looks like a common interior (don't think it is though)
On mine the red under the handle looks like a faded sticker but some others look like a real reflector. When was that change done?

I recall the red being a semi-reflective paint that liked to wear away fast. An applique plastic reflector was added as part of the higher end trim packages.

Nice fulsizjeep!

Are those custom door panels? I love that your plastic dash parts still have the chrome accents.

1974 Cherokee "S" I had to put new backing on it as the original was deteriorating. Have not added a speaker yet and I removed the mirror adjuster. Still need to make a plate for that.

I don't think I took ones in the Honcho. Totally wrong for me. No light colors in my rig door panels or anywhere I could touch with greasy hands.

Is that lower part of the panel, below the trim line vinyl or carpet? It's tough to tell.

Thanks
