Manifold Coolant Leak.....

Just changed the waterpump a month ago. I'm think'n the change in coolant pressure is causing the coolant to find all the weak spots.
Is it just the gasket? That's what I'm thinking. The PO had some seal saver in there for a reason.

Here's a better look at it.

Well, its possible its weeping through that bolt hole, although I am not sure which bolt hole that is. But I would check any coolant hoses going into the intake in the area.

I can tell that's front driverside of the intake, right next to the thermostat housing, but I can't tell if it's the front most bolt or the second to front most bolt. Here's a pic of my 401 in long block form for reference.

The front most manifold bolt DOES go into a waterjacket, but the second one back does not. If that's the front most bolt, it could be leaking through the bolt hole, but if it's the second on back, it's most likely the t-stat housing or one of the hoses connecting to it. ;)

I'm pretty certain it's leaking through the bolt hole itself. After I inspected it. I noticed that the third bolt hole is leaking as well as allong the front manifold gasket seal. I'm saving up for an oil pump change. Both my pockets are dry right now from all of the holiday spending. So for now I'm going to loosen the manifold bolts and seal the washer with some RTV.
Where is the marking to identify an edelbrock intake? Anyone know?

Is cast into one of the front runners as I recall. But really, there are not many made. Yours looks to be a performer intake. And its either with or without EGR.
