vehicles I still have

Post by carnuck »

I've reduced the herd considerably, but still have a lot.
'84 J10 aka Black Jack
Image
'82 Honcho no name yet besides stepside
Image
'68 Travelall (and a 1/2 truck for parts) Pumpkin bus
Image
'82 Eagle wagon (Brown Betty)
Image
'71 Loadstar, aka Lonestar (the bed is big enough to hold the pumpkin and 1/2 parts rig plus the gas powered air compressor between the cab and tilt bed
Image
'87 Comanche, aka Sarge (recently sold off Molly, the '86 MJ that carried us to Oray and back in '02)
Image
'89 MJ longbed that is getting 4x4 drivetrain and it's 4.0L and 2wd AW4 are going into the pumpkin (divorced tcase makes it easier)
Image
Then it gets 290 or 304 and AW4 or AX-15 and NP231 or NP242 and the cab extended to fit 2 door XJ doors and more space.
Then there is the '93 Grumman I got in part trade for my '03 E250 (deal to be completed by monday)

and the wife's '12 Kia Soul! aka red rollerskate (no pics)

Nice collection there. Is that Honcho the one you've had up for sale?

It is. When I wake up, I need to copy that info and kill the ad. Looks like I won;t be unable to work for the full 6 months as feared.

I agree with kirk. I really love stepside trucks, and this one being a Jeep makes it infinitely better. :)

It's getting a motor swap. The BG241 is coming out in the next couple days and a 4.0L will go in as soon as I find the 258 mounts from an IH. I should measure the frame as I already have a set of 4.2 mounts from an FSJ.

The old motor and T18 are gone now. Still looking for a late '60s/early 70's IH with AMC 6 cyl to get mounts from.

Nice Fleet. I'd like to take that Loadstar for a spin. Of all the pre 1980 trucks I've driven, my favorite was a '75 Loadstar 1700, with the big gasoline 392. Two thumbs up on the Travelall. I wish you the best of luck on the motor swap that everything slides into place quick and easy.

Hope so. I found a guy with IH parts rigs that I'm going to get the goodies from to make it almost a bolt in job.
