73' J4000 Build

Post by 73'J4000 »

I bought a 73' J4000 for $400 for my first vehicle. Since late August i have completed all of the body work. just looking for a T15 or T18 tranny to bolt up to an AMC 343. The truck had a 258 and T14 in it. Also need a windshield, seal, door seals, and exhaust components. Can't wait til it's on the road, which im hoping will be early spring.

You can check out my build pics here: http://www.oldwillysforum.com/forum/sho ... 4000-Build

Took me a while to get my password, I dont go there much. Just so you know, the photos dont show when you click the link. You have to be signed in to see them.

I love the color you chose, what is it? It would be awesome to see yours and your granddads together for pics. :-bd

Hey Jeff, Thanks for the help. The color is Dupont Nason. The color code is CAS927. Yeah I can't wait to get it fully running and together. I will definitely get pics of both trucks together.

Picking up a rebuilt T18 next weekend. Can't wait to see it. Does anyone want a T14 3 speed?
