BTW, I need any kind of land/4 wheeling permit for these trails? Anything I should look at getting in general?

Mike didn't think we needed a state trust land permit for this area.
Licensed and insured is probably good enough.

I don't think this run requires any special prep or items.
Like Mike, most of my crap stays in the rig 24/7 for the most part.
Although I do not have his organizational skills, I'm amazed at what he can pack in that rig sometimes.

As long as you keep the rubber side down and on the ground, you will not need a landing permit. ;)

Quick question...will the trip be taking us on any Indian land? Doesn't look like it, but if so it alters one component of my packing for the trip...

Cool, my buddy Franklin is going to ride shot gun. Franklin always has a good time wherever he is.

I will bring my infamous cheese crisps and hot salsa for everyone. If you want less hot salsa, bring it along.

I am also going to bring stuff to make 'pork tenderloin' sandwiches. I take pork tenderloin, cut it into small pieces (about 1" cube). I pound it flat.
While this is happening I will take butter and onions and sautee. When they are close to done I will take the pork and bread it with flour and pepper. I then cook it along side the onions. When done (and it doesn't take long) I place the onions and pork onto a small slider bun. You think this is done but before you commit you add a small amount of mayo.

There will be plenty for everyone so please join in. I understand kids and folks may crave other additional things so that is fine too. These are nice 'snacks' for everyone to enjoy if they so desire!

Dude, that sounds awesome.

Josh is bringing his dad, but they will be riding quads instead of his truck. I told him not to be offended if we pretended not to know them ;)

Bummer, I was hoping you would tag along!

Cool Drew, see you at the trail head. We won't be stopping in Florence for gas. Last chance is in Shell in Gold Canyon (7138 E US60).

Once you get on 79 the turn off is past the first set of train tracks you will cross. You can see a flag pole, usually no flag and the large staging area.

I am heading out but I have to go pick up my buddy Franklin. I will be monitoring Channel 4.
