I bought a pair of Dodge Durango seats today at Ecology.
Will report later as if they do fit or not? $15 a seat is not to bad I reckon?
They are the same color as in the first post linking to the mother ship. Kinda that Blue/dark grey. Not my first choice, but I want something more comfortable for the trip to AZ.

If God is your co-pilot, you need to switch seats!
My sister just got a 99 durango. I told her if she ever wrecks it I'm taking the seats They are identical to the above pictures.

If you are kinda tall, they are probably not for you though. The Durango seats sit about an inch and a half higher, and the drivers side is tilted a bit up at the hump.
But they do in fact bolt directly to the mid 70's bucket seat rails. For $30.00 + time to remove and install, I think it is well worth the cost.
Now we wont have "Iron Bumm" on the way to AZ.

It took about 10 mins per seat to install. Might be a little longer with out an air ratchet or electric ratchet?
Be sure to get the torx bolts from the durango, as the bolts on our seats are SAE. Also on my jeep seats there were little 1/4" spacers. Ditch those.
I am 5' 11" so it is borderline for me on height. I feel like I am so much higher in the seat. But they are WAY more comfortable than the old Waggy seats.

Dusty if you were to cut the original jeep brackets to shorten them, therefore lowering the seats, would there be room before the seats hit on the transmission hump?
Do you know what year of Durango your seats came out of, so we can get a definitive year range?
Found this on ebay, claims to have 2013 Grand Cherokee limited seats in it. Absolutely terrible pictures. Just sharing, thought you might be interested.

I messaged the guy for more info...I'm really liking that idea, but I find it hard to believe they would fit perfect. Wondering what the pictures are hiding...

I know the passy side hump is different, but I have '95 grand cherokee seats and elec bases in my J-20. The pass seat is a little closer to the door then I'd like it to be, but in a work truck its very nice.
