Between bad and terrible.. I haven't filled up yet but I'm guessing at 10-11 mpg when towing

Once I get ahead on bills, I plan on replacing the top/windshield and installing the Tan interior that I've saved. I need AC in this Fl heat (I've got until April)

I hear ya...i have a serious leak in my AC...i hate doing it but
its time to take it to someone. I may have an edge since cooler
weather is here I may be able to get what I need a little cheaper.

I have priced a new compressor for 269.00 and a rebuilt one for
199.00. I may...MAY just get all new parts; drier, compressor,
lines...and get frosty cold when I need it :)

Def' want to replace the Drier/Acc as it holds all the dirt. The condensers are notorious for rotting away also.

Waggy looks pretty good for a parts rig.

What motor is in that J10? How does it tow?

I keep thinking of putting a motor in my J20 and towing with that.

It has the 360ci and 727 and J20 axles. The stiffer suspension, wider tires and trailer brakes make it usable. You def' want to keep good tongue weight on it to keep the rear planted. I was towing with a long bed J20 and now the short bed and didn't notice any diff' in stability.

I cant wait any longer for the air bag assist for the rear. So, I installed a set of J20 rear springs to handle the load better than the wagon springs I was using. Hopefully, the ride wont loosen my rear teeth fillings :P
