Found this carb in the garage (Holley).

Post by Rollbar »

I forgot this was in there. Someone gave it to me.

I'm thinking of putting it on the CJ8 w/the 360 v8.

I have a Holley on it now but it has mechanical secondaries where as this one looks like vacuum secondaries.

Looks like a 600 cfm so it should go well w/the 360.

Air horn number is 6830 but I don't know the hook ups on it.

Would this fit a spread bore intake ?

Thanks,
Jim

I guess I could put a rubber tube to these two points for off camber situations. ??

It looks like the same base as an Edelbrock. I get the universal 4bbl adapter from the McParts store and it goes on easily. :-bd

....if they have one for the Motorcraft spread-bore pattern. Most carry the Rochester Spread-bore pattern (Quadrajet and maybe Thermoquad) adapter, and the Motorcraft spread-bore pattern is completely different.

I always got the universal one so it has several inserts to make it work. ;)

Why would you put a spreadbore adaptor on a square bore carburator???? :ugeek:
1980 Honcho 258 4 speed mostly stock with 4 " lift.

WIP

You know the rude dude from IFSJA

1980 Cherokee wrangled & mangled
MSD complete system
Eddy intake
Holley 650
Comp cam 270H
4" Rusty's
Ramsey 12K winch
208
Built to drive not sit in the garage.

No longer strangled. I didn't build it for anyone else.
If you can't improve it why waste your time?
