Ouray 2024 wrap-up

I am very late in getting this posted, my apologies.

This year was an amazing year. The rain rain held out save for one of the early days when we got caught out in a hail storm on the Red Mtn Town Loop and took refuge in an old mining structure.

We had a total of 12 FSJ’s in attendance and for the first time ever we had a perfect 50/50 split of wagons to trucks.

Ouray Mtn Rescue brought out Elsie, their classic Land Cruiser, to the potluck and raffle. While at the raffle they mentioned that it is up for bid on an auction site. Auction closes today actually https://www.ouraymountainrescue.com/elsie

We raised a total of $1088 for OMR.

For the first time ever we didn’t have ANY massive breakdowns or comical tragedies, maybe because I didn’t bring an FSJ? lol!!

Official dates for next year are July 16-18 2025. I will be starting another thread for 2025. The KOA is under new management, again, and with that brings some changes.
