If its not too much trouble I'd love to see a couple photos of how to did it. Thanks for the suggestion! Definitely will solve this problem for me.

I have some here already on the thread, but will get a few more to round out the install, to give you a better view of the bits between.
'81 CJ5 Base, 258 I6, MC2100, T176 4 spd, 300 TC, D30 Front NT, 3.31, 2-Piece AMC 20 rear NT, 3.31, 4" high arc spring lift
'84 Grand Wagoneer, 401 V8 (.030 over), Edelbrock clone 1406, 727 auto, Selec-trac NP229, AMC 20 REAR - D44 FRONT - WT 3.31, 4" high arc spring lift
Rather be driving, than waiting to be modified

Oh yeah I saw your photos in the thread, I was curious to see the remote battery disconnect installed

It is the switch next to drivers seat labeled Tank 1 & 2. All power cut off when on tank 1, and everything goes hot on tank 2.
I know what its for, but anyone else, besides all the forum watchers here now, would think it is a simple gas tank selector switch. The newer generations do not even bother to look, as it is too old a truck for them to understand.

And if they did get it running, would not know how to put it in gear. Where I mounted the reminder light on steering column, my grandson broke the shift indicator off when working on the truck soon after it coming home, and I have not replaced it yet. Thinking I might not, as I know how to find the gears, and nobody else needs to know.......yet!
