Trim code assistance

Hey all (again).
Been trying to look up the trim code, for my 82 WT Cherokee. It's 3DG, but i'm coming up empty, despite searching FSM and parts catalogues.

Can anyone, with better knowledge than me, advise on what that trim code equates to?

Sorry I don't have any info for 1982. Likely Jeep had a separate book for seats and trim after 1980, and it's not widely available.

Unfortunately it's both expensive and they have no stock.

Does your Jeep have any interior pieces? You might be better off to look for sales literature from 1982 and reason backwards to the trim description. What are you hoping to learn from the trim code? Typically it gives a color scheme like "Desert Beige" and seat type, bench or buckets. Just enough info for the dealership parts counter to order the right parts for repair or replacement.

Yes, it's on the plate, on the bulkhead. above the VIN.
