Hey everyone! I recently bought a 1977 Wagoneer. It's got the 401 engine, with PS, PDB, A/C, and Cruise. I'm located in Huntsville, Alabama. Wife and I look forward to using this truck lightly for fun. Hiking, fishing, camping, and joy rides. It needs some things, but it is drivable now. Plan to take it to work probably once a week. The engine is pretty impressive. I've never had a Jeep, so I have no experience with the 401. I have owned several late 60's Mustangs so I'm more familiar with Ford 289, 302, and 390's. I'm a rocket scientist during the day. That's what pays the bills. I am also a sign collector. I have lots of neons, clocks and other lighted signs that relate to drinking and cars.

Welcome to the forum!

Looks like a pretty original example, is it an original z code? (401)

Welcome aboard! Really nice looking waggy. I’m assuming with your job title you are in the northern Alabama region?

Welcome from the left coast. Nice looking example, so you do have the part time conversion? how about the ignition distributor with the double vacuum control called prestolite?
