pulls left when braking hard

My '82 Laredo pulls left if I get on the brakes hard. If I "feather" them to a stop, is strait and smooth.

I replaced calipers and ball joints and had an alignment but it persists.

Any ideas where to look next?

Knuckles have play? Spring bushings? Play in steering box?

I have bled the brakes. I did not think of pads. Knuckles?

Not sure if you figured this out or not but the flexible lines to the calipers can get clogged up. Kind of like hardening of the arteries for brakes. They get to the point where the fluid can’t flow back and forth fast enough.

A dragging caliper will cause extra friction which will generate more heat than normal. If the temperature of the rotor/pads gets too high you will experience brake fade.

After driving for a few miles, feel both hubs to determine if one is warmer than the other.
