J10guy, as for being a little low in the rear just add a block to make up for it. Quick and easy.
Sierra, I wanted spring under in the rear on my truck, and still may but the $1200 set of springs to do it are the issue, as it is the rear springs at $100 and easy to get. You would think a nice mass produced lift spring for a Chevy of all things would exist, it does not, they are all crap, they sell the same spring for a 1500 and a 2500….
The bus I ride is so short it is a yellow Smart Car full of squirrels, monkeys and clowns.
There are 2 major differences between new Wranglers and FSJs. FSJs are meant to be both utilitarian and capable, not just capable. FSJs are also rarely initially recognized as Jeeps by the average American.

Yeah the frame has some rough spots. In spots it has paint still and then look over 4 inches and there’s holes. We are going to fix the frame at the same time that we fix the shackles.

We’ll cut out the rusted/thin parts and then weld in new similar gauge metal. It’s not too bad. The front half of the frame is pretty much perfect. I don’t need to fix anything on the frame from the back of the cab to the bumper. It’s just behind that that needs some work. It won’t be too bad, I’ll manage (with my dads help of course)
