Here’s a few pics of the shifter. The rod between the shifter mounted to the floor and the tcase is the factory piece that will be on that k5. There is no reason you couldn’t use the shifter in the K5 as well and rework the stick to point where you want it.

There are 2 major differences between new Wranglers and FSJs. FSJs are meant to be both utilitarian and capable, not just capable. FSJs are also rarely initially recognized as Jeeps by the average American.

Your welcome. I bet the shifter in the k5 will fit nicely in the existing hole, reshape the handle, sew up a boot and be done.
