Thinking about twin sticking my j20...

Post by nc wagoneer »

So, I've been reading up on twin sticking a bunch and since I plan on running a Mercedes om617 putting out 150/200 hp/tq I'm thinking twin sticking my truck ought to work out for me since the only towing will be back roads at around 40-45 mph tops. I also plan on running an ax15, this ought to allow me to run in 2wd low and make use of the torque and gearing. I also plan to wheel the truck at eci and places around where I live so having the ability to not have to run in 4wd all the time would help out saving parts wear for my young pocket :D I've also heard running in front wheel drive on ice with a twin stick can keep you from sliding as much, is this true??? By the way I'm looking at the kit from bj's :-bd

Towards the end of the page, I did a home brew twin stick. ;)
