Cam selection for Proflo4

Looking for cam recommendations for the Proflo4 install on a amc360.
My current cam is a K8600 from the 2008 rebuild. (http://forum.bjsoffroad.com/forum/forum ... ons-wanted)
I'd like it to run smooth and normal pretty much like stock.
This makes me want to go with something like a comp cam 252h (CL10-200-4). Bjsoffroad recommends the 260h (CL10-201-4) which has a higher rpm at idle.
I'm not chasing power, this is for a daily driver with occasional offroad use at the family farm, maybe a trip to Uwharrie, NC.
252H is 800-4,800rpm
260H is 1,200-5,200rpm
k8600 is 1,500-5,000rpm

The main requirement is the cam works well with Proflo4 mpfi and is for a nice smooth daily driver. If the 8600 works then one less thing to change but my understanding is it doesn't produce enough vacuum and efi likes vacuum.

What RPM does your torque converter grab? If you are at 1000-1200 when the torque converter starts to really grab, I would go with the 260H.

But that also kind of depends on what gearing and tire size you have.

I just put the CompCam 260H kit (CCA-K10-201-4) in my 401. No problem with low idle, 650rpm in gear. Approx. 8 in. HG at idle 14 in. at 2000 rpm. 9.5:1 compression. But I'm using a carb. No complaints here, it runs smooth and quick.

Stock torque converter. 33" tires currently 2.72 but will be regearing to 3.73.

I am not an expert. I know a bit about how engines, cams and such work. When I mentioned to my engine builder that I was going to use fuel injection he said he would pick a cam based on that. It was something about not needing to send a 'signal' to the carb or something. Maybe more overlap or slower or faster valve opening? So my limited experience is that fuel injection can benefit from having a different cam profile than a carb.
