Keep the oil changed, don't overheat it and a 4.0 will run a LONG time. My DD 05 LJ is at 230K and going strong. That said, a new timing chain made a noticeable difference a couple months back.

Yea i did a timing chain on her Jeep at around 220 or so. Her old chain had alot of slack. I decided to do the chain because the harmonic balencer was wobbling. So i did water pump thermostat and chain ect.

Did a tune up on it.. cleaned the throttle body by taking it off and the iac and new plugs and cleaned up the points on the distributor ect. Checked the compression and it had 160 psi in all cylinder but number 3 it had 145.

I suspect 3 number has 145 due to her number 3 valve spring breaking when it had like 70k miles. Yea a valve spring broke at under 100k it was weird. And she drove it for like 30 miles like that too.. probly messed up comoression in that cylinder a little. But 300k and still running lol.

Despite my tune up.. new plugs wires.. cleaned distribitor and cleaned entire throttle body. The Jeep still has to crank like 5-6 times before it starts.. been doing this for awhile.. even when driven. If you park and let it sit for 15 or so min it cranks and cranks before it statts.

I thought maybe it was the check valve in the fuel line causing fuel to drain back.. so i leave it on power for like 15 sec to push fuel back in the line.. but it still does it.

Not sure what to do about it.. but shes getting annoyed by it.
