'89 Waggy & '67 M715

Post by Jagged »

I have two FSJ basket cases, currently. I want more, but the neighbours think I'm bringing the place down, and I don't really have anymore room. :)

Plans for the M715, currently, are: Make it run consistently, get a 24V alternator, and at least be able to move it around town a bit.
Future plans: 6BT swap, 1-ton axle swap w/ disc brakes, restoration, make it into a tow rig for my smaller Jeeps.

Plans for the Waggy, currently, are: Fix the t-case leak, tune the carb/adjust timing, maybe some minor interior upgrades
Long term plans: Don't know yet. I'm thinking once I clear some projects out of the way I can start looking for a Cherokee w/ a 401 or something and then maybe set this aside to restore for when my daughter is old enough. Granted, by then these will probably be illegal. Ha.

Interesting color on the M715. Who owned it originally?

Washington Fish & Game Department. I plan to bring it back to an olive drab before I'm ready to call it "somewhat done".

My 89 GW is that same color as your 89. Looks like the lift and the tires are pretty close too.

I don't have either of these anymore. I suppose I should post what I DO have now.

Maybe later. :)
