Time zone vs. regional

Post by Addicted »

Just curious about why the forum names were changed. Mostly because me and the rest of the guys that frequent the central time zone forum, well, we don't live in it. :-?

It came down to not having proper names for the areas. And that some states were in areas that didn't really apply.

If you need something moved from one time zone due to another because of the change, just let me know. Your sig says you are in MI, which is in Central right?

I live in the eastern time zone. It is pretty much anything east of Chicago or the IL/IN border. I did find the IFSJA set up for the regional forums worked well. Maybe a Great Lakes/Ohio Valley region? It doesn't really matter I was mostly just curious.

I really didn't want to have 50 regional forums for every little area. I wanted to try and keep it a bit more general.

If we have to, we have to. But I rather not.
