Howell part, what is it?

Sorry for starting a whole thread for this guys but I’m hoping someone has an answer.
I brought my “used” Howell FI kit back from storage last week and wanted to see what all may be missing from it. Most of it seems to be there except the o2 sensor and bung, coolant temp sensor, and an adapter for the tbi to amc 2bbl.
One thing I noticed is this odd thing coming off the throttle body. The guy I bought the kit from said it was installed on a buggy and removed as completely as he could. Some things are labeled, most are not but I should be able to figure the wiring out.
So what do y’all think this is?

It’s attached via a hose on the rear of the tb between the fuel input/output. I’m guessing it’s some sort of MAF sensor? It just looks a lot different from the one that came with my Hamilton kit. Thoughts or ideas?

MAP sensor, newer style is all.
It is mounted incorrectly, vacuum fitting should point straight down.

Awesome, thanks for that.
Any suggestions on what # to look for in a new temp sensor and o2?
Where to get an adapter for the tbi?

Just get standard GM TBI parts for other bits.
Nothing special about them.

Bill sells adapters.

Should be fine...
Don't recall if Howell uses a 3 or 4 wire o2?
But it's a standard GM part like everything else.

There are steel adapters, but I'd go with aluminum.
Bill's are cheaper than Howell or Holley etc.

I'll probably just save up some more and have bill send one. Either that or turn it into an even bigger project and install the Edelbrock intake. Maybe do the new cam then too...ImageImage
