Vent window rivet tool
I’m so glad to of have found this info on a search.
I just ordered the tool you located, I’ll alter as needed to fit as you had.
Some of my holes became enlarged and I use oversized pop rivets , only used on tabs on divider shaft.
I too have fallen pray to the rivet repair kit ,that tool sucks, yea try holding it ,the rivet , hammer and keeping it aligned while
not bending the frame.

WOW this project is so cool. I just read this whole thread over the past two days, and now I'm all caught up. I'll be following along for the next posts which I hope are soon to come. I have an '83 j10 honcho that I'm putting a 2000 5.3 with a 4l60E and NP241c in, so seeing this build is really cool. I understand there's lots of ls swaps on here but I admire the drive you have to work through the difficulties of doing the swap with the new engine!
