Various Pot holes and the Last Crossing
Sep 30-Oct 1
Time: 7:00am
Meet Place: TBA
Destination: High Desert
Estimated Duration: Two day overnighter
Estimated Distance: 300 mile round trip from Boise
I will be heading out to explore another area of interest in the high desert. This would be a overnighter that will include some hiking/scrambling. Not a lot of information available for both locations so I will keep it that way to preserve its mystic. Roads conditions and access are unknown as well. I am expecting mostly two track for the last portion of the trip. Private property is known to restrict some access points. I believe I have found a route in using only BLM lands so we should be good. Just a warning that things could go wrong. But, that is half the fun right? Camping would be close to, but not next to the Owyhee River. Should be a easy hike to gain access to the river if one wanted to.
If access to these locations are not obtainable then option 2 may be required.
As always this is not a guided tour and you are responsible for your own safety

Well another year is drawing near. With the Holiday season I think this is all for this year. I hope that next year will be back on track for a full calendar of trips. Time to start a thread for 2018.

Always welcome to come along. Another FSJ would be cool to have on the trail with us.
