thanks for all the info! I'm going to need as much as i can get for when i start my project.
i have all the pieces to get going on this, just need to get rid of the extra stuff from both rigs.
looking forward to more progress on your build!

Did you flip the exhaust manifold to avoid the heater box? I'm still in the the parts collecting stage. How far from the firewall is the back of the block?

The manifold is for a school bus with 6bt it locates the turbo down and back a bit. I will have to modify the exhaust (as I was going to anyway) a body lift may have helped ,but it is not my style.. the Engine sits Approx. 1.5 inches from the fire wall :-bd
