The faded look turned out pretty well, but your business logo and number ain't gonna be easy to read at all.

I can't even make out the phone number from the picture, and I'm not in traffic or driving by you.

I patched the hole at the bottom corner behind the driver's door. I should have left it for Patina but couldn't allow it to rust :( If you look at the Lettering "Straight On", it's readable--sorta

Where's all the info on the diesel conversion? And how much might this kit cost? Is it a 6.2/6.5 or maybe even a bit newer (duramax maybe???)

It'll be a 6.2/6.5 as its the easiest and most cost effective. I plan on having at least 3 versions: Diesel adapted to the 727 Jeep trans, Diesel with 700R4 and Diesel with 5 speed manual.

I have the NP229 Twin-Stic shifter inplace and will be taking it to Fab shop soon. It will remove the Silly flag shifter and vacuum module. Only problem is coming up with a reasonable cost pistle grip shifter handle.

I will definetaly be following the 5 speed version buildup. The addition of a 6.2 suburban to our list of farm trucks has made me notice that the low power people talk about is not an issue and the seat of the pants power is more than that of the smogged up 360 that was in the waggy. And that's with a fully smogged c code 6.2

See, it dose drive and is being used as a shop truck (black spot under truck isn't an oil leak but Pyro's dog). http://fsjnetwork.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 4&start=20
We wired up the trailer plug to use as our tow vehicle. I still have to pull and replace the rusted top

I ran the SJO 10/3 cable from the battery to the rear with a weather resistant plug for the trailer winch. Now all that's left is to install a brake controller for the trailer brakes and Ill have two J truck tow rigs--Yahooo :P

The trailer and winch package is finished and will run its maiden voyage taking the Cherokee to paint and picking up a '70 K20 on the way home. Wish me luck

The shop truck towed flawlessly today--I'm so happy considering how much trouble this rig has given me.
