This hasn't come up for me yet but it's on my TTD list.
I've been thinking that surely there's at least one old vehicle with a similarly shaped door seal but I also think this group would have found it by now if it existed. Still, I'm going to prowl around when the time comes and see what I can find out there to try. I liked the late model used seal solution but really liked the rope idea, I'm going to mess around with that one a bit too.
