Ultimately they suck off road. Doesn't flex worth a crap. I've been wanting to fix it and now the time has come. Bought some 1.25" heim joints from http://www.4x4outlet.com. Got a good deal on them through the pirate4x4 vendor section.
The plan is to use the existing stock axle mounts. Only reason I'm not going to cut the stock mounts off is due to the mounts by the diff. It's all one big piece of cast. If I cut the mounts off I don't have any axle tube to weld brackets too. Not comfortable with welding to cast. It should work pretty good this way.
In these pics you can see there's not much tube between the diff casting and the knuckle C.
Had to take a break for Xmas. Out of town till next week.
I'll have to check space but more than likely it's gonna go on the passenger side and mount to the tranny cross member. I'm gonna finish the lowers and run the numbers for the upper link in the 3 link calculator.
Hum, I'd never thought about making the lower link mounts tie into the factory radius arm mounts. I'm anxious to see how that works still having the bushings.

They're pretty stiff bushings. Should be fine for now. Gonna wheel it like this for the up coming year. Going coil overs next year so I'll pull the axle and hard mount the links then.
