I have searched diagrams and cannot determine if the Headlight Switch and Interior switch are illuminated. Also I have a black wire coming out of the Multi Function switch that is not connected to anything ( the steering column was swapped out ??)
Any thoughts appreciated. This on my 88 GW.

Not sure if 88 and 90 are the same, but according to the schematics there is an unused black wire associated with the wiper function of the multi-function switch:
The headlight switch is NOT illuminated. IIRC, none of the rocker switches are... the fog lamp and defroster have lamps in them to indicate they're on, but are not 'illuminated' in the sense that you can find them in the dark.
