It maybe hard to see but dents around the handle area and to near to body lines make it un fixable... For me anyway.
I kinda got luck and this tailgate that was destined for the scrap heap, which oddly had no problems where mine did.
I carefully outlined all the trouble spot on my tailgate, cut them out and traced them on donorgate. Tracing them gives me the opportunity to fit them perfectly with a bench grinder. I recently got a new Eastwood 175 mig welder and i eager to see how good it was.
I know it's not perfect, but we FSJ guys can't order our parts from a catalog like LMC.
