dana 44 carrier

Will this ford bronco dana 44 carrier fit in my waggy dana 44? Says 3.50 gears. Could I use this carrier for 4.56s?

Whatcha gonna do with all them worms now that you opened this can? :P

Yes it will fit regardless of being standard or reverse rotation, no it's not what you want. The carrier break is 3.72, numerically higher and you need a different case.

"But REDONE, they make thick gears for the lower carrier". Yes they do, and the ring gear bolts are thicker too, so it still won't fit. :banghead:

Brand new carriers are pretty cheap compared to most of the used offerings anyways. Have you priced out new or even full carrier LS and lockers? If you're looking at 4.56, you're probably looking at getting a little more off road anyways. ;)

New carriers are $80 for the d44 and $130 for my amc 23. I found this ford ttb carrier for $25 bucks right up the road on our local craigslist. So I had to ask. $25 bucks vs. $80...... for lockers I'm gonna get lunch boxes. I'm on a budget

I'd say buy it once, cry once. Buy cheap, buy it twice.
