Looks like we're doing 125 down to 70, staying to the west, we were looking at 285 at one point, maybe on the way back.
So how far on I-70?
All the way to Grand junction will put you due north of Ouray. There is a nice twisty drive through the Delores River Canyon you can access from the G J route. I always come down that way when going thru to the Junction.Or you can shoot straight down the main route, never been that way.
The I-70 drive is beautiful.
Either way, drive safe and watch out for others who don't, and i'll see you at the KOA.

Truck is half packed here. House sitter has arrived.
I have a bunch of yard work to do in the morning and into the day then nap time and then it's blast off time. I'm a night driver for most of my trips through the cornfields. When the Sun comes up Sunday I want to be west of the Mississippi.

Congrats hutch! We need to keep each other motivated to make it next year. We can call our trip the show-me run. Get as many of MO members to ride together as possible.

I know j2sax went last year and there are a bunch of others in this area. Pretty sure I wont have my jeep going but can always rent a baby jeep again.
I'm off like a herd of turtles... Hopefully at the KOA around 9-10pm to drop in and meet some people. I'm staying the night in Montrose. If it's late I'll go direct to my room. Once people have talked about something for Monday am, please let me know. My mobile is four hundred thirty-five, 8 ninety nine, o four o four. I'll get back to the KOA around Monday 830am, regardless.
I am in Tulsa, OK this week for business.
I have thought about on Friday, driving over...but that 14 hours further and 22 hours on Sunday back home.
As much as I want to, I need to take a Big Boy Pill and come home at the end of the week.
