87 J10 longbed

Post by Dr_Jim »

Greetings all,
Driven TJ's most of my life,....and after 3 years of looking (locally)...finally found a worthy J truck!

1987 J10 - 360, long bed... "Pioneer" trim level. And btw - just got it yesterday,...still trying to find out what the "Pioneer" means...

Nice looking truck, and welcome to FSJ's.

Pioneer is basically a decal package, nothing more. Most FSJ "packages" are just that, stickers.

heck that goes for Jeep as a whole. Even to this day, with the exception of the Rubicon. otherwise they still do things like the "Islander" which has blue paint and a sticker.

Nice looking truck though. Looks similar to mine back when i first got it.

Looks good. The pin stripes are part of the Pioneer package as well. Pioneer trim changed over the years beginning in 74. Welcome to the Madness. :-bd

Nice looking J-10. Funny I just bought an 87 J-10 longbed yesterday. Yours is much prettier than mine though. It did run well and drove home with out a rescue. This is J Truck #3 in the driveway for me with other FSJs preceding these. Welcome to the Madness is accurate. :-bd
