I picked up a set of Fox 2.0's from Down South Motorsports and put them on the Lexus. 12" front 10" rear. OMG what a difference they make!! It's rides and handles nice and firm like it should. I had to extend the shock towers and have lots of pics if anyone is interested.
http://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/ ... ounts.html Those shocks should allow the Lexus to fly through the air and then land fairly smooth
They worked out so well that I went ahead and ordered up a pair of Fox 2.0 12" for the front of the Honcho. They are replacing some worn Rancho dual shocks that were given to me by Zone Offroad for the Ultimate Adventure. I already have a new set of Rancho 9000's on the rear of the Honcho. I wish I held out for the Fox on the rear as well.
I told them (DSM) what the Honcho is and how it's built and what I do with it. Here is the valving they put in the shocks.

I'll fab up the mounts this weekend and install the shocks onto the Honcho on Monday when they arrive.
We are heading to the Walden Sand Dunes in northern Colorado on this coming Tuesday for our annual Memorial Day weekend party. 1000+ people all playing in the sand. I can't wait to see how the new shocks work!
