I am sure its a big block chevy. That suspension on the hearse is setup for mudding, hence the horrible bouncing. The deuce didn't hop at all, which is surprising. Must be making some pretty decent power.

What happened to the deuce on the first pull? He started pulling but then looks like he stopped and gave up?
I knew if the driver knew what they were doing, the duce would win, its just geared too low and too heavy for that hearse to stand a chance.

Watch the chain/cable. The hearse tries to give it a jerk and gets the deuce sliding. After the first pull, the deuce driver knows the game and owns the hearse.

For what it's worth, I was actively pursuing a Deuce and a half before the wife shut it down. Too many toys, too little room, waaaaaaaaaa(deep breath)aaaaaayyyy big toy with the M35A2.

Hence, the Jeep Cherokee W/T rebuild with my boy. Turned out good in the end.

If you watch it in full screen at 1080P you will see the deuce continues to spin his tires on the first run. The Caddy was able to hook up without bouncing. The other two runs axle wrap took its toll on the Caddy and it lost. I would be willing to bet the weight between the two is not much different.
