Nice to see another Laredo build. Yours, like mine, looks like it was in good shape to start with. Some of the metal and mechanical work done on builds here is crazy impressive and well beyond what I could ever imagine trying to take on.

I had to get a windshield for my 83 Laredo. Easily available. Called the local shop and they had it in a few days. Cost about $300 a few years back.

The rear glass, if you have a defroster and it's still good, treat it like gold. Not at all easy to come by...ask me how i know

Yes, if there is a replacement, would be a good idea, but existing glass looks like it has a lot of life left yet........but maybe I am just dreaming :/

I'd suggest making removable panels for those fresh air vent spots. You could use some decent RTV or something akin to seal the patches water tight. The cowl vent drains directly into that location, and if they should get clogged with crud, that invites rust. Being able to open them up to occasionally inspect/clean would be on my agenda.
