One time I took my wife's 2015 CTS to Home Depot. It's a nice car but not a 'V' model or anything special. As I pulled into the parking lot I was surprised at how many guys stopped and turned as I drove past. It was really weird.baileynb wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 1:49 pm I forgot about the cars and coffee at the gas station Sunday morning. I stopped to put gas in the Wagoneer. Ran in to grab a snack and came out to find a couple people checking it out. One of them said that I could have waited and that they're all "over there" pointing the rest of the group standing around. I just kind of laughed and said maybe some other time, my truck has work to do and isn't pretty enough for that croud... He did not seem amused.
The Javelin stands up to the Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, Barracuda… all handsome cars. AMC did make some super ugly cars though.seventynine wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 8:46 am Well…technically you have a Chrysler based on your signature ;~>
I see a few AMX and Javelins from time to time. They just didn’t make as many. And to be honest, the big three were making better looking muscle cars IMO.
Absolutely the Javelin stands up with the other pony cars. Here's mine that will grab attention away from the others.iharding wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 8:29 pmThe Javelin stands up to the Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, Barracuda… all handsome cars. AMC was just like every other company, they made some good looking cars and some ugly ones. Anyone remember the Aztec?iharding wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 8:29 pmThe Javelin stands up to the Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, Barracuda… all handsome cars. Was the Aztec inspired by the Gremlin?
Same for us. Lots of convos at fuel stops, in campgrounds, wherever we're at in either vehicle.Srdayflyer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 9:33 pm you know,
we are a special group, hell if i wanted a trophy i'd just go buy one, i get more cudu's and conversation time at the gas station than at shows, my daughter recently went to a gal's jeep club meet, she arrived a little late to the party, typical xj's, wranglers, 1 cj, gladiators, then she rolls in with her SJ cherokee jaws dropped, they all went over to meet this gal with the BIG JEEP, they were all over her about her jeep , the gal with the cj side barred her later saying it was nice to get some of the snootier gals to be out done. so there are those out there who know cool long before owning a jeep became a fad. hell kaiser/amc invented the SUV long before the rest thought about it anyone remember EAGLE the 1st true 4x4 suv,
