BJ spring bushings...

Post by pcoplin »

Have some 4 inch BJ springs. I noticed they say the rubber bushings are discontinued on their site. I didn;t catch them today, they have real short hours.

Anyone source rubber bushings for these? I also noticed they are 2.25 in wide versus the stock 2.5 in springs. Using a quick tape measure action, looks like they may be 1.25, 1.5, and 2 inch.

I plan on heading to the local spring chop on Monday, but does anyone know offhand what to source them from? Thanks!

Napa can get them for sure.

So can all the other mcpart stores; autozone, advance, oreily's, etc. I think they are like $10. Google your favorite parts store.

You probably want to get the 'stock' metal/rubbers ones. Not the polyurethane. IMHO.

So are they the same dimensions as the stock springs? I haven't taken them off to measure.

You can buy them online in packs of 4...
IIRC the last time I bought some it was $25 or $35 per 4-pack depending on the size of the bushing(s).
Forget the name of the place but they were free shipping too.

Dayton Parts makes them you can also find a local distributor via their website?
