Second wash, up past the RV’s then hook over to the cliffs in the third wash.
The washes are very Sandy, stay to the left where it’s packed harder.
The sign is at the second wash.

I will not make it out this year. Between my wife's broken foot and my broken back, we decided it was better to stay home.
Hopefully the Jeep will have its engine back in by then
Tomorrow we may face destiny, we may fight and die and fall to the fires of perdition, but tonight is ours, and we drink and make merry.
I am sorry you guys missed out! But I understand the reasons.
We did Elvis on Friday. Tad has some power steering issues on the way so we parked his rig at the gas station and continued on. (This is the Elvis curse).
We took a bit of a detour after getting to the trail head. (Again, Elvis curse). We eventually got on the trail and found ourselves at the first challenge. Each of the three rigs (mine, Derek's J10 and Jamie's Chop Top) took different lines. I think the guys took some video and hopefully with posts some links.
The next two challenges were similar with each rig doing different approaches. I chickened out on the fourth and last obstacle (the squeeze).
No body damage, no breakdowns and just a bit of scraping on some sliders. The weather was perfect, absolutely perfect. We got back to camp a bit after dark and Tad made some fricken awesome hamburgers.
The next day we headed down to the river, hung out and then came back up and started dinner. All the usual fixing's including Turkey, ham, stuffing, tamales and such.
Em showed up for dinner with her daughter. What a treat! They headed back to town that night.
Sounds like a fun trip, and looking forward to having the project here on the road soon, to get the kinks driven out of it and be there next year
